Post 16 students were very proud to receive double medals at the RYA and School Games Interschool sailing competition at Trevassack Lake. At this fun event we had races and games collecting tennis balls around the lake and some had a go on a smaller boat sailing with an instructor for the first time, others driving the powerboat. A windy day, so very brave sailors out on the water, especially in the Luggar which tipped a lot!

We are so impressed by the students progress this year from not knowing how to paddle to being proficient and confident to race through the water on a kayak; learning how to pull in the sails to catch the wind and go faster as well as use a tiller to steer the boat
